Bull-lay

“I'm a Bull-lay,

Give me what I want or You'll be sorr-ray

Give you a bloody nose, or push you down,

or just like Jack, I'll break your crown.”

Bully knocked him down, grabbed his collar,

the kid was crying, he couldn’t holler

Bully threatened the boy, scared him bad,

Scared me too, it made me mad.

I’d like to say I came to his defense.

But I was small, and my fear was intense.

I asked the Bully why he was so cruel,

He said “shut your mouth, you little fool” …

“I'm a Bull-lay,

Give me what I want or You'll be sorr-ray

Give you a bloody nose, or push you down,

or just like Jack, I'll break your crown.”

I don’t need a badge, I’ve got a gun,

I’ll take you away, and zip tie your son.

I don’t care what you do or law you haven’t broke,

I can tell by your color, you’re too woke …

I’m the King, that gives me POWER,

I can sit back here in my ivory gold tower,

I don’t care for laws, judges or constitutions

Give me a mill and I’ll give you absolution

“I’m a Bull-lay, what I say goes,

Do what I say, or I’ll break your nose,

I’ll throw you in prison, that won’t take long

If you don’t stop singing that stupid song,”

I’ve seen and dealt with Bull-lays all my life,

Nothing makes me madder than a Bully lowlife,

don’t care about money, power or position,

I will sing my truths, without Bully’s permission,

Just a musician with a story to tell,

If you don’t like this song, …Bull-lay, …you can go to hell …
